Do I exaggerate when I say Rotary Club of Lahore Midtown has the most electrifying and powerful man as an Honorary Member? I guess not, since I’m talking about PEPCO’s MD, Mr. Tahir Basharat Cheema!
Recently Mr. Cheema visited the club and threw some light over the topic “Challenges of managing power supply”. The shortage of electricity in the country is alarming, but he assured us the situation will improve in years to come. The members, visiting Rotarians and guests got the opportunity to ask a few questions before he had to rush to the airport for an urgent meeting in Karachi. Before leaving he was pinned as an Honorary Member of RC of Lahore Midtown by our IPDG, Saeed Shamsi.

During the same meeting we also said goodbye to our beloved Scholarship Ambassador, Ramsha Khalid, who now has left for America. She has been a frequent guest of the club, and she promised us she will be back in August, next year.
The club presented her with some club flags to give away, plus a Rotary cap and a Rotary t-shirt.
