In an impressive function recently held at the President House, Islamabad, NIDs were nationally launched by H.E. President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari. On this occasion H.E. President Zardari was also inducted in Rotary as an honorary member.
Rtn. Bob Scott addressed the guests and highlighted the importance and achievements of Rotary in its fight against polio.
President Zardari has been committed to the cause of polio eradication and he administered polio drops to a child to mark the launch of the NID campaign.
The entire district leadership including PDG Aziz Memon, DGE Syed Shahab Blakhi, DGE Shehzad Ahmed, DGN Pervez Ahsan Khan and DGN Iqbal Qureshi were also present at the occasion.

Polio is deadly disease but in Pakistan it is still active after 90 rounds,I think there are more reasons for it,if we catch the main reasons than polio will be ended in pakistan.
