DG Rtn Usman Masud paid his official visit to Rotary Club of Karachi Karsaz. The DG visit program was held on 20th January 2010 at Hotel Marriott Karachi during the weekly meeting of the club. The BOD meeting was held with the DG prior to the actual program.

Board members discussed various projects with the DG. During the formal meeting, the guests were officially welcomed by Club Secretary Rtn Kamal Mustafa. The meeting was presided by IPP Khalid Shekhani in the absence of President Shahid Butt as he is not well and was unable to attend the meeting. Later Club Secretary Rtn Kamal Mustafa presented a breif report on the on-going projects undertaken by the club. PP Anis Younus introduced the District Governor. In his address DG Usman Masud showed keen interest in RCKK service projects and was impressed with the activities of the club. He expressed his interest to visit the club projects in Malir and Gizri areas. He said that the club which had produced two DGs should go a long way and that the strength of the club be gradually increased.

He paid homage to PDG Tariq Allawala and applauded the dedication and support extended to rotary by PE Rtn Kishwar Allawala. The DG invited members to contribute towards The Rotary Foundation and and urged them to contribute atleast $100 per member.

During the offical visit the DG was presented with the report on various activities of the club under the four avenues of service alongwith a compilation of service projects undertaken by the club. DG was also presented with the copies of ‘Karsaz Kahani’ the offical publiction of Rotary Club of Karachi Karsaz. Later Club Flag was presented to DG Usman Masud by PDG Faiz Kidwai and senior members of the club. The meeting was attended by AG Khalid Ikramullah Khan, various Club Presidents and other prominent rotarains besides the members of Rotary Club of Karachi Karsaz.
