District Governor Usman Masud paid official visit to this club on Monday the 14th November, 2009. After his arrival from Karachi he had a meeting with current club officers to discuss various club affairs.

District Governor also took part in start of polio NID by giving two drops of Polio vaccine to a small child of employee of Hyderabad gymkhana. He also administered capsule of Vit A to the same child.

Club assembly started immediately after their meeting. Meeting was attended by Rotarians and their guests, members of Innerwheel Club, members of Rotary Club of Qasimabad, Rotary Club of Hyderabad, Rotary Club of Karachi Central Town and Rotary Club of Samaro Bostan. Club President Georgiana Griffin in her welcome address paid tributes to DG Usman Masud for his vocal support to this club.

Rtn Altaf Memon presented brief report on first month of club activities. He also presented the details of forthcoming projects of this club.

DG Usman Masud in his address stressed upon the consolidation of clubs without compromising on quality of membership. He paid rich tributes to the past history of this club and promised to give extra support for carrying our various projects. He immediately appreciated the proposal floated By Rtn Dost Mohammad Baloch for provision of advanced Medical Facilities to be provided to needy and deserving poor people for their treatment in various hospitals of Karachi on the pattern of Gift of Life basis. He promised to look into this proposal to be taken as District project.

Rtn Dost Muhammad Baloch presented final vote of thanks. In the end Lunch was served.
