REGISTRATION
You all know that the upcoming DISCON 2010 will be the last conference of District 3270 as from July 1, 2010 District 3270 will be divided into two districts (District 3271 for clubs in Sind & Balochistan AND District 3272 for clubs in Punjab, NWFP & Afghanistan) and from then onwards the DISCON will be organised in District 3271 and District 3272 separately.

There are some very exciting plans for this year’s conference, to make it a grand finale. More and more Rotarians will be attending DISCON 2010 from all over Pakistan and Afghanistan. So you can expect some great fellowship opportunities.

“On Spot” Registration Charges: 7,500/-.

ROOM RESERVATION
DISCON 2010 committee has negotiated a Rotary Friendly deal with Sarawan Hotel in Saddar area, Karachi for the upcountry Rotarians.

The rates after negotiation are;
1) Single Deluxe Room. Rs. 2,300/- (inclusive of all taxes)
2) Double Deluxe Room. Rs. 2,800/- (inclusive of all taxes)
3) Triple Deluxe Room. Rs. 3,300/- (inclusive of all taxes)

Rotarians residing in Sarawan Hotel will be served free buffet breakfast. The conference transport committee is planning to provide shuttle service from Sarawan Hotel to Sheraton at fixed timings.

Hurry up and confirm the booking to avail this special offer.

PHF BREAKFAST
PHF Breakfast will be held on April 3, from 7:30am~9:00am at the pool side at Sheraton Hotel. Charges will be Rs.850/- (per person).

The Rotarian(s) & guest(s) staying in Sheraton Hotel will not be charged. Since the committee has to give final figure to hotel by 25th March, 2010, all PHF members intending to attend the breakfast may register with the host club by 25th March.

TALENT HUNT-DISCON 2010
Come up and show WHAT YOU ARE? Are you Singer, Dancer or Mazahia Poet?

We have hidden talent amongst us. Who ever accept it may come forward and give audition on April 2, at 11AM at the House of Friendship, upon selection you will be performing on April 3, 2010.

SEA CRUISE OF KARACHI BLUE WATERS ON 4TH APRIL (3PM TO 7PM)
The District Conference committee is offering to enjoy the hospitality of Rotarian Seafarers and to experience the marvellous view of Karachi Blue waters and coastline, over 100 years old Manora Light House, Merchant ships and submarines with refreshment on board the cruise.

Charges Rs 450/- including Transportation from Hotel Sheraton & back, refreshment and light music (booking on first come first service basis), Register as soon as possible as the steamer has a capacity of 150 person.

ROTARY GOLF TOURNAMENT
As part of the DISCON 2010, Rotary Golf Tournament is scheduled to be held on April 2, 2010 at 2:15pm at DHA Golf & Country Club, Karachi. As this District Conference will be the last one for the combined District, let’s make the conference as well as the Golf Tournament as a memorable one.

District Conference Golf Tournament Committee will take care of the Green Fee at the Club. As per DISCON 2009 Golf Tournament held in Lahore, there will be five trophies i.e. Best Gross, Best Net, Runner-up Gross, Runner-up Net and Highest Score. Additional Trophies will be given for eagles/hole-in-one.

Early information from you will enable them to make the required arrangements adequately. As April 2, 2010 is Friday, we plan to assemble at DHA Country & Golf Club Karachi at around 2:00pm after Friday Prayers. The District Conference is scheduled to start at 7:00pm and as such we will have to finish the 9 hole tournament by 5:15pm so as to give ample time to the Rotarians to get ready for the main event.
