The topic of this meeting was “The cure of Piles or Hemorrhoids Without Surgery” & Dr. Muhammad Dilawaiz Mujahid, MBBS, FCPS (Surgery), Consultant surgeon Allied Hospital was invited to deliver lecture on this topic. He introduced “Rubber Band Legation Technique” by which patient can be cured without surgery.
He also briefed about “Scarless Laprosocopic Surgery (SILS)” by which gal bladder can be removed by access through incision in umbilicus without going old long surgery procedure. The live operations of both the techniques was presented by multimedia projector which developed the interest of Rotarian members to understand the development in surgery.
