A splendid evening was enjoyed by the Rotary Club of Karachi Sunset Millennium (RCKSM) on Sat. Oct.3rd, 2009. On the occasion President Amir Fancy introduced RCKSM’s new Board Members for 2009 and Chief Guest DG Usman Masud Khan, presented the board with their respective pins.
Three Paul Harris members were also recognized, Rtn. Shehnaz Kasim, Rtn. Imtiaz Quettawala and Rtn. Shuja Baig , who were presented the Paul Harris Award and pins by the DG and the charming First Lady Shehla. The evening was attended by PDG Aziz Memon and his very elegant wife Samina, and Dr. R. T. Arasu, R.I. Regional Membership Co-ordinator – Zone 6 B, who was on a five day visit to Pakistan from Malaysia to conduct workshops in Karachi and Lahore.
Besides the excellent food and good music, the hostess Rtn. Akhtar Nabi made special arrangements for the viewing of the ICC cricket match played between Pakistan and New Zealand, which disappointingly end in a loss for Pakistan.
