A free one day eye camp was organized by Rotary club of Hyderabad on Sunday the 23rd May 2010 in Piggot Annexe school, Hur camp, Hyderabad. In all 253 people visited the camp and were examined for various eye ailments by Dr Jeccob Zahiruddin who especially came from Mirpurkhas for this camp and Dr Irfan Memon Consulting eye Surgeon at LUMHS Jamshoro.
Free medicines , Glasses and other necessary things for given to patients free of cost. Persons who needed surgical intervention were referred to Eye department , LUMH Hyderabad. Rotary will bear all the expenses incurring for surgical operations. Present on the occasion were President of the club Georgiana Griffin, secretary Altaf Memon, PE Dost Muhammad Baloch, SE Irum Griffin and other Rotarians. Camp was formally inaugurated by Very senior Rotarians PP Kishinchand Bharvani.
Refreshment and lunch was served during the camp to Doctors and all the volunteers.
