Under this project 23 Computers and related equipment has been gifted to “Deaf Reach Training Center” by Rotary Club of Lahore Midtown (R.I. District – 3270 Pakistan and Afghanistan) and Rotary Club of Topsfield, Boxford and Middleton (R.I. District – 7930 Massachusetts and Salem, New Hampshire, U.S.A) under The Rotary Foundation Matching Grant # 67374. The total value of the grant is US$ 12,950/-. The international contribution includes US$ 1,000/- raised for the project by the Association of Pakistani Physicians of New England (APPNE) and donated to the Rotary Club of Topsfield, Boxford and Middleton.
Directions to the venue : Half (.5) KM from the Allama Iqbal Town & Wahdat Road Intersection. After turning onto Allama Iqbal Town Main Boulevard (from Wahdat Road) go exactly half a KM and on the left you will see a CNG Station (Sahil CNG Station). Deaf Reach Training Center is located in the next building to the CNG Station on the 1st Floor.

Rotary Club Ludhiana is one of the oldest Clubs in the region. At present we have 127 members. Our new Present Mr. Kanti Behal will be joining on 1st July, 2009. Under his guidance, our club would like to foster closer relationship with your Rotary Club.

A few words about me; I was born in Pakistan in 1940. I am a retired scientist who did his doctorate degree from France in 1971. After retirement from Punjab Agricultural University (Luhiana) I have been more actively involved in Rotary activities. My wife is a dentist (educated in part from USA). We have two sons one cardiologist and the other dentist both very well travelled but in USA at present.
As and when we get your reply I will forward you detailed bio-data of our President who is a well known Industrialist and highly educated from India and abroad. His secretary is a chief Engineer retired and highly educated and well travelled.
