One day free medical camp at Hala by Rotary Club of Hyderabad

Rotary Club of Hyderabad in collaboration with Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) Hala Chapter organized a free one day medical camp at Anjuman-e-Islam Government School, Hala, District Matiari, on Sunday the 7th March 2010.


In all 1100 patients were given free consultation and treatment by consultants in various specialties like Dermatology, Gynecology, Cardiology, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Medicine and ENT, who specially came to Hala from LUMHS Jamshoro on our request.


Medical camp was inaugurated by very senior Rotarian and Physician of Hala Dr Muhammad Abid Memon. He was received at the camp by President of the club Rtn Georgiana Griffin and all the Rotarians present there, along with PMA Hala. He was very happy to see and meet all the Rotarians and shared some of his past experiences in Rotary .

Free special investigations like Blood Glucose, Cholesterol, ECG were also performed on the spot without any fee. Medicines worth 50,000 were also given to patients free of cost as advised by Doctors.


A large bunch of Medicines were donated by Various pharmaceutical companies and doctors of Hyderabad.

Lunch was served to all the members of club and volunteers with the courtesy of Rtn Dost Muhammad Baloch.


This club is extremely thankful to all the Doctors who rendered their valuable services and came all along Hyderabad on a Sunday, Rtn Shahna Bhurgri and her volunteers, Rtn James Francis and his team of Paramedics from St Elizabeth Hospital Hyderabad, Rtn Dost Muhammad Baloch, Rtn Altaf Memon, Rtn Shoukat Memon, Rtn Irum Griffin and PP AG Darshan Lal Nankani, President and all the members of Pakistan Medical Association Hala.
