With great sorrow I share the news of demise of PDG Riaz ul Hassan Ghauri. INNA-LILLAH-E-WA-INNA-ILLAYE-HE-RAJEOON.
It was only a few short months ago that we had the honour of his presence at my installation ceremony in Lahore where he was also awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award.
PDG Riaz ul Hassan Ghauri was a dedicated Rotarian, and the only individual to hold the office of District Governor twice in the entire history of our district.
PDG Ghauri was a member of Rotary Club of Lahore Sharqi, but his dedication and devotion for the entire district was exemplary. With his death Rotary has lost a great Rotarian and a superb human being.
May Allah rest the departed soul in peace and give courage to all the family members to bear this loss.
