EPI/ MO Health announced Sub- NID of Polio for 66 high risk districts in Pakistan from June 22-24.
During last meeting on Polio at NIH It was emphasized by National steering committee that Masjid Imam can play a vital role to convince local communities to welcome Polio teams during NIDs. UNICEF designed the message for Masjid Amam; which soon I will be able to share with you. I suggest if we ask all clubs to play a role with in the community of each club member and ask them to convince local Masjid Amam to announce the messages. I am hoping that this will be a good activity for every club and at the same time we can fight for cause in a humble way. We can do this activity at district level for July NID.
During June SNID our Club RC Rawalpindi Rohtas had a successful activity at Rawalpindi Railway Station and covered 4 incoming/ out going trains. We were able to give drops to over 50 children. I am attaching few photos for your info.
