Rotary club of Hyderabad organized a family gala evening for the purpose of fund raising for forthcoming Rotary projects and for the Polio awareness , on Sunday the 18th April , 2010 between 4Pm to 10Pm at Kainat Nagar Hyderabad. More then 1000 persons and Children came to attend the function. Stalls of Different companies were there that included food stalls, daily routine household items, face painting, mehndi application and bangles. Rotary club of Hyderabad also erected its own stall where awareness about activities of Rotary was given to all visiting persons with the use of Multimedia.
Sports and entertainment activities were specially designed for young children. Arrangements were made for Kite flying which continued till last. Live music continued through out the evening in which various local artists presented their songs and other item. Magic show for children was also a big attraction. Children were also called on stage to show up their Talents. Prizes were given to them. Senior Rotarians spoke on the Rotary in Pakistan and role played by this club. Special mention was made about Polio Plus program. Members of R.C Kunri, Inner wheelers, Rotractors also attended the function. Special coverage was given in News papers and TV Channels.
