Rotary Club of Khairpur participated in 3-day NIDs throughout district Khairpur. In this district 8 talluqas and five years children population is about 400,000. The campaign was started from Civil Hospital, Khairpur where all Rotarians and other social workers gave drops to the new born babies.
Rtn. Shujaat Ahmed Siddiqui visited Sukkur/Noshehro Feroz and Shikarpur with WHO Representative Doctor Gordan Dass during the polio campaign.
Radio Pakistan Khairpur also helped in the efforts by delivering public awareness messages in its broadcasts. Radio Pakistan Khairpur broadcasts throughout Upper Sindh and has substantial audience.
