Renowned artist Zareen Suleman and President Rtn: Javed Manzoor presenting bouquet and shield to Mr. Javed Iqbal

Rotary Clubs are famous for recognizing leading persons in various vocations. On 2nd November Rotary Club of Lahore Mozang invited Mr Javed Iqbal as the guest speaker. Mr Javed Iqbal working with JANG group of Newspapers is a cartoonist of international fame. He was introduced by Rtn Azhar Javeed and vote of thanks was delivered by Rtn Almas Jovinda.

Cartoonist Javed Iqbal is a lively speaker and kept the members enthralled with his witty remarks. He spoke of his 45 years’ journey as a cartoonist. He said that he had to leave home to pursue his ambition against the will of his parents.

He explained that a cartoonist has to be a very good artist/painter first and that a great deal of intelligence, observation and positive attitude is required to become a good cartoonist. Mr Javed Iqbal was presented a bouquet, a souvenir and a shield to acknowledge his excellence in his vocation.
