Members of Rotary Club of Hyderabad club actively participated in Sub National Immunization Day on Sunday the 13th December, 2009 by immunizing 282 children up to five years of age at Village Kumbhar Para, Hyderabad.
Each child was given two drops of polio vaccine. The campaign was made on door to door basis. Special care was taken about missing children. Their names were recorded and passed on to Health authorities for necessary action. This time one of the notable personality and social worker of Hyderabad, Mr Ibrar Kazi also joined with us to support this campaign. He greatly appreciated the role played by Rotary Club of Hyderabad for polio eradication. Thanks to small children of the village who joined the Rotary volunteers by carrying their vaccine carriers and also bringing the children out from homes in the village.
