DG Usman Masud Khan paid a visit to the mausoleum of Dr Allama Muhammad Iqbal on July 4th, 2009. A simple yet impressive wreath laying ceremony was arranged by the Rotarians of Lahore.

Guard of honour was presented by the jawans of Pakistan Rangers. An Imam was present at the occasion who led the fateha prayers. DG Usman Masud was accompanied by first lady Shehla Usman, his family, friends and a number of senior and notable Rotarians inlcuding DGN Shehzad Ahmad, Dy Governor Rtn Satwat Butt, Rtn. Gulzar Qureshi, Rtn. Almas Jovindah, Rtn Anthony Richards, Rtn. Robert (Bob) Heiserman, Member Polio Plus Committee, Rotary Club of Denver (Club 31), RI District 5450, USA and others.
